On August 15, Marcos Antonio Solís brought his Gratitud tour to a nearly sold out MGM Music Hall at Fenway.
As thousands of fans from all different backgrounds filled the Boston venue, the show began with a dazzling performance by four beautiful, glowing dancers. When Solís finally took the stage, not a single person was in their seat. The crowd was chanting so loud you could barely hear his opening remarks. Adorned in even more jewels than the dancers and backed by his full orchestra, Solís opened the night with “No Puedo Olvidarla (I Can’t Forget Her).”
Nothing could prevent the tears shed by his loyal fans who have been waiting since 2024 for his return to MGM. Couples danced in the walkways, mothers sang to their children, and hundreds of fans experienced the music that shaped their childhoods.
