Chance the Rapper took over MGM Music Hall at Fenway on August 20. Celebrating the 10-year anniversary of his 2016 mixtape Coloring Book, the tour kicked off earlier this month and finally made its way to Boston. Fans flooded the venue, eager to see the Grammy-winner play some of his most iconic songs from the decade, such as “Cocoa Butter Kisses” and “No Problem.”
The night opened with Le Reezy, a New Orleans-born singer, producer, and visionary. The musician introduced his newest album Skittle Bandana, which focuses on roots, identity, and culture within his community.
With fans dancing under the rain of confetti, Chance the Rapper reminded Boston that you have to take “The Highs and The Lows” of life as they come.
