This Thursday, October 13th, Cobi is coming to Paradise Rock Club as part of his tour with Boy & Bear. We’ve got two tickets up for grabs for one lucky winner!
Cobi’s history playing in blues bars as a teen is abundantly reflected in his current day sound. Raw and unfiltered, Cobi moves listeners with his Hozier-esque voice, playing songs wrought with stark emotion and political significance. “Don’t You Cry For Me,” his single released in May 2016, was featured on NPR and lauded for it’s timely dialogue on injustice and unique bluesy-electronic sound. His much anticipated second single, “Prophet Story,” was released a week ago and it is equally irresistible.
After spending the last several months touring throughout the US and Canada, Cobi has joined up with Boy & Bear, well known for folk hits such as Rabbit Song and Fall at Your Feet. This collaboration, along with the intimate setting provided by Paradise, makes this a show you do not want to miss.
