RX Bandits at House of Blues Boston – Selected by Tom

There’s nothing better than getting the chance to see a band that you thought you may never get to once they disbanded – if you were a fan of Rx Bandits, then you’ll be getting your chance on July 23rd at the House of Blues. The Seal Beach, CA natives are making a foray into town bringing their eclectic rock/ska/R&B stylings along for the ride as they return from the three year hiatus since the release of their last album Mandala. Along with the tour the Rx Bandits released a new album “Gemini, Her Majesty” on July 22nd which will also mark a strong return for the horns and brass instruments many early fans enjoyed.

Dirty Heads with Pepper and Aer at Blue Hills Bank Pavilion – Selected by Beth

Nowhere are the golden sounds of summer more present than in The Dirty Heads’ sunshine-infused tunes. They’ll be bringing their laid-back beats to Boston on the 23rd with Reggae-rock band Pepper and Boston’s own Aer. Expect lots of head-bopping summer jams and a chill, upbeat summer vibe.
