Last year, Bust Out Boston set out on a mission celebrate artists representing female-identifying, gender nonconforming, nonbinary, trans, and other marginalized musicians in our community. This year, in partnership with Do617, Bust Out Boston is back on Sunday September 9th with a stellar new lineup that honors the same great cause.

This festival isn’t intended for one specific type of music fan in particular. From the satirical alt-pop of Burlington, Vermont’s Caroline Rose, to the fiercely poetic hip hop of Boston’s Dutch Rebelle, to the cinematic and electrifying steampunk of Boston’s Walter Sickert & The Army Of Broken Toys, Bust Out Boston will host over a dozen acts that satisfy nearly every music taste under the sun.

Check out this video of the festival’s 2018 pilot to learn more about the event’s history and noble cause:

We’re giving away two tickets to this year’s festival at Brighton Music Hall, so enter before the giveaway ends on Thursday, September 5th at 10PM for a chance to win!
