We’ve got a lot of exciting news to share with you in this week’s Weekly Wrap-Up!
Berklee College of Music alum Lucius was featured in the Huffington Post. In honor of South by Southwest (aka SXSW) -a film, music, and interactive conference and festival held in Austin, Texas – AARP compiled a list of “a dozen music choices for all ages”, one of the acts including rock band Lucius. Other local acts recognized for their SXSW appearances includes Gentleman Hall, who was featured in Fourculture magazine. They discussed their experience playing at the festival for the second year in a row and covered everything from their favorite grub to grab in Austin to their most memorable experiences.
Also, indie-folk singer songwriter Aoife O’Donavon from Newton, MA was just added to the Newport Folk Festival 2014 lineup. This three day festival starts on July 25th, so get your tickets soon so you don’t miss out on performances by folk artists like Band of Horses, Nickel Creek, and Phox.
