Ticket Giveaway: The Novel Ideas (and Friends) October 5, 12 & 26 Maddy Ball September 30, 2016 Featured, Giveaway Massachusetts-based country folk quintet, The Novel Ideas, will be at The Lizard Lounge for three shows, joined each night by a different local band. Singer Sarah Grella sets the tone with her classic country-folk voice, a nod to other popular groups such as The Staves and First Aid Kit. It’s the vocal layering, however, that gives The Novel Ideas their distinct Americana sound, wrought with beautiful harmonies and authentic lyrics. Along with Grella, Danny Hoshino and Daniel Radin are the main lyricists, conjuring songs that speak honestly of many themes including uncertainty and excitement for the future. Their latest EP, St Paul Sessions, got deservedly glowing reviews. It is bluegrass at its best, leaving listeners sure this group only has great things to come. We’ve got a pair of tickets for EACH of the following shows up for grabs! Entrants can submit responses for as many shows as they’d like, but will only be selected for a maximum of one show: Wednesday, 10/5/16 @ 8:00 pm – With Mile Twelve & The Western Den – This giveaway closes Monday, October 3rd at 10:00pm.
