The crowd began trickling in around 8 PM to the sounds of camera lenses clicking into place and the clatter of mic stands and gear—the pomp and circumstance for their entrance.
By the time Grey Season was plucking strings and warming up voices for harmonies, Harvard Square’s Sound Lion was half full; a few songs into the set and the venue had hit capacity.
The door was left ajar while Boston Scene Party members rushed in and out with hot coffees. Harmonies rang out into the frosty air, and the steam of the hot drinks formed a faint fog as latecomers waited for their turn to enter.
