Boston alt-rock/emo outfit Good June celebrated the release of their new EP, Afterimage, at Warehouse XI in Somerville. Supporting them were local emo bands end to end, with sets from Blame it on Whitman, On Regret, and Impossible Dog. For the special occasion, Good June played their EP in full, older favorites, and sprinkled in some live features. Ali Lipman of Cape Crush and Evan Doherty of Impossible Dog joined Good June for guest vocal appearances, playing songs from their collaborative release Good Dogs Wear Capes. During the Afterimage portion of the set, violinist Fiona Wood, who is featured on the EP’s first and fourth songs, joined the band on stage as well.
