While his 2015 album symbolizes a “‘futurist talking drum,’” this EP exemplifies nostalgic, yearning guitar chords, Little’s most recent EP invisible is purposeful and poetic in nature.
LA-born, Philadelphia-raised Son Little continues to shine since we last spoke to him. Since his 2015 self-titled album, which was full of “harmonizing, layered voices next to crisp hi-hats and looped synths,” Little released an album, EP, and singles that tie meaningful prose back to his beginnings as the son of a preacher.
Son Little stops at the Sinclair on Monday, November 25th. With a 2019 tour spanning across the US and Europe, he has transitioned from a four-piece band to a solo act.
