Boston-local band Palehound play The Sinclair on Friday, March 16th at 8:15 PM. We’re giving away two tickets!
Palehound is fronted by Ellen Kempner, who was raised in a Connecticut suburb and moved to Boston almost four years ago to expand her horizons. She signed to the previously Boston-based label Exploding in Sound and released her debut album, Dry Food, in 2015. Kempner’s music is 90s-style grunge rock with a tinge of noise and girl punk. Or, as she describer in our Local Spotlight interview, her sound is “kind of like journal-rock, just all of my biggest fears splurted onto some vinyl, no different from writing a diary, really.”
Fans of Charly Bliss and Girlpool don’t want to miss this show. This giveaway closes Wednesday, March 14th at 10 PM, so get your submission in soon!
