Up-and-coming electronic-soul artist Jacob Banks plays The Sinclair on Tuesday, November 28th at 9 PM. We have two tickets up for grabs!
The Birmingham, U.K. singer-songwriter is known for his modern bluesy soul and intimate performances. He sings about dysfunctional relationships and alienation with inspiration from R&B and 70s soul.
His last single “Unknown (To You)” explores his shaky relationship with his father. Banks told Billboard: “I think the relationship is very tender between man-and-man because life teaches men to pretend to be okay all the time, and even when we’re not we have to always put on this brave face. I think it takes greater strength to be vulnerable than it is to pretend to be strong all the time.” He released his first EP The Boy Who Cried Freedom in August, and his debut album The Village is set for release in Spring 2018.
Fans of Izzy Bizu and Gabriel Garzón-Montano do not want to miss this show! This ticket giveaway closes Sunday, November 26th at 10 PM, so get your submission in soon.
