Bad Religion at The Paradise Rock Club – Selected by Matt M.
West Coast punk legends Bad Religion have been touring for well over 30 years now, but never like this. For each stop on the tour, the band will perform a two night celebration of their massive discography. The first will highlight material from their pre-2000 catalog, including seminal records Suffer, No Control, and Recipe for Hate. Stop by for night two on Tuesday to hear cuts from the past fifteen years, including their critically-acclaimed return to form record True North.

Spoon at House of Blues Boston – Selected by Matt J.
I’m used to not getting my hopes up for a band’s second or third album—if they make it that far. Spoon has managed to wildly outdo themselves on their last three and I’m talking about their sixth, seventh, and eighth studio albums. At this rate they will make it to twelve but, I would still feel like a damn fool to miss seeing them play any chance I could.

Phox at Brighton Music Hall – Selected by Knar
A retro feel, honest banter, and indie-rock sound. This Wisconsin act has won over hearts at Lollapalooza, SXSW and iTunes festival. We’re not surprised: last time we saw PHOX, they left our ears aching for the crackle of vinyl.
