Closing out a ten-day tour in celebration of their new record, Accept When, Caroline Davis (alto saxophone, organelle) and Wendy Eisenberg (guitar) played the New School of Music in Cambridge as part of the Creative Music Series (CMS). The CMS regularly hosts shows in the Cambridge/Somerville area and states that their goal is to “bring together performers and listeners in intimate venues” and to “showcase the work of adventurous jazz musicians,” this show ticked both of those boxes. Playing their respective instruments and sharing the role of vocals, Davis and Eisenberg’s live renditions of songs from their new album made for a great evening of live music.
