Ticket Giveaway: Juice (2/22)

After forming at Boston College in 2013, NYC-based seven-piece collective boy band Juice has traveled the US and world every year. You might remember Juice from our Listen Local concert series at Brighton Music Hall—now, they’re returning home to Boston to share their most recent EP you are simply magnificent with the fanbase that stands by them year after year.

There’s no better word to describe their energy than feel good. Juice reflects on moments that matter, and fuses those feelings into songs like their new single “DiCaprio (Love Me All the Time).“

Fortunately, we had the opportunity to ask Christian Rose, violinist and vocalist, a few questions to learn more about their music.

Juice’s songs always express freely where they’re finding bliss. Or as Rose put it: “It’s sometimes upbeat, sometimes dark, sometimes thoughtful, sometimes raw… but it’s always coming from seven guys from all over the country who met at school in Boston and want to share our music with the world.”

The band has a lot they’re anticipating for this year including their “Hands off the Van” tour, a few festivals, as well as new music being dropped in a few months. Though they’ve got a packed schedule they’re still making time for other interests, or as Rose says, “Avatar the Last Airbender is doing a live action Netflix adaptation which…. LETSGOO!”

Despite constant tours and moving to NYC after graduating from BC, Juice cherishes their time in Boston. Christian Rose affirms: “I don’t say this lightly. There would be no Juice without the Boston music scene.” There is no doubt that there’s a strong foundational love and history of music in Boston. For Rose, “Boston will always be the most meaningful place to play a show, no matter where we end up living on this long journey that is being a band.”

Come hear them return to the place that started it all this Saturday, February 22th, at Paradise Rock Club—we’re giving away two tickets. Enter below before 10am on Thursday, February 20th for a chance to win!
