Boston’s Entertainment & Arts Nirvana is bringing one helluva lineup (and two food trucks) to the Lawn on D this Saturday in efforts to showcase some of the best music coming out of Boston neighborhoods. Come out early to catch sets from That Somebody, Slick Vick, Latrell James, and others. Stay for a slice of Stoked Pizza and get properly stoked for Vundabar, Michael Christmas, and Brek.One.

 

Boston Music Awards Announce Free Fest at the Lawn on D

In preparation of its 28th year shouting out Boston artists—from blues vets to hardcore bands and everything in between—the ladies and gents behind the Boston Music Awards are announcing Sound of Our Town 2, a free, all-ages jam party set to go down at the Lawn on D on September 24. This year’s fest will feature Tribe Society, Vundabar, Oh Malô, Bearstronaut, and many more, not to mention former BMA nominee and STG GLD member Moe Pope as the night’s host.
