Active since early 2015 with the release of Loud(y), Lewis Del Mar found immediate recognition with the number one spot on music blog/website Hype Machine. Their first EP was equally successful, garnering the 7th slot of Billboard’s Emerging Artist List and guaranteeing them sets at both SXSW and Outside Lands this year. Their self-titled debut album is set for release on October 7th.
Lewis Del Mar’s sound is experimental folk-pop, giving each song a unique flair. The New York Times accurately lauded their ability to “layer together low-fi clatter and unabashed pop tunes.” Anyone who likes Alt-J or Chet Faker will love Lewis Del Mar. Don’t miss out on this soon-to-be-famous duo!
