Sound of Boston: Top 10 Albums of 2014

Great albums are like leather boots. Each time you put them on, they’re better than before. If choosing our Top 10 Songs of 2014 was hard, choosing our Top 10 Albums of 2014 was even harder. Bestowed upon the people of Boston were full-length releases by many talented musicians.

We are thankful to have premiered Chain, Red Shoes, and Stone’s debut work, Emma-Liz Sings the Blues, as well as Nemes’ I Carry Your Heartamong other amazing albums. In the end, what Nemes told us may hold the most truth: “I guess it’s best to just listen.”
